Chris Dodd

Chris Dodd, MD, PhD, is a board-certified pediatrician and Williamson County native with deep roots in the community. A graduate of Brentwood High School, Dr. Dodd earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from Samford University before completing both his PhD in Immunology and medical degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). He went on to complete his pediatric residency at UAB/Children’s of Alabama and pursued additional fellowship training in pediatric oncology at Vanderbilt University.

Although his training initially pointed him toward an academic and subspecialty career, Dr. Dodd discovered that his true passion was general pediatrics and the opportunity to build lasting relationships with children and their families. His background in scientific research, immunology, and pediatric oncology gives him a broad clinical perspective, while his more recent professional interests include the behavioral and mental health challenges children and families may face.
