Tara Fishwild is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant. She earned her Master’s degree in Nursing from Wright State Medical Center after completing her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Cincinnati and her Associate’s degree at Kettering College of Medical Arts. She is board certified through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.
Tara began her career as an OB nurse, specializing in Mother-Baby care and lactation support for 12 years. Her love for families and desire to care for children across their entire childhood led her to pediatric primary care. She is passionate about partnering with families, using evidence-based practice, and supporting breastfeeding and feeding with confidence and compassion. Tara especially enjoys watching her patients grow from infancy into young adulthood.

Outside of work, she loves gardening, hiking, and spending time with her husband, four sons, and their chickens in Summertown, Tennessee.
